Mission::
To make guidelines for Indian Sterile Services and to get it approved by government bodies.
To get the guidelines accessible to every CSSD of Hospitals and ensure its implementation in all CSSDs.
To prepare curriculum for junior and senior level courses like certificate, diploma & degree courses and getting these recognized by universities or government bodies.
To work for standardization of entry level educational qualifications for CSSD Professionals.
To eradicate unsafe practices in Sterile services, particularly in CSSD by inculcating adequate education and training to sterile professionals
Vision:
To have zero tolerance against healthcare associated infections due to use of CSSD processed patient care items.
To bring Indian Sterile services especially CSSD services of government & private hospitals at par with international standards, by active cooperation, coordination and collaboration with government bodies, educational institutions, other NGOs and private organizations.
To bring all CSSD professionals under the umbrella of ISHA and get the ISHA recognized by government agencies as National Association of Central Sterile Professionals.
